Tip
In order to set your own version of the report, click on the "Settings" icon which appears as a gear in the top right side of the report. Then select the columns you wish to see and set filters and save by giving it a name. Thus you can create your own report variations for various purposes. Example you can create multiple versions of the Sales Order report. One could be filtered Sales region wise. The other could be Product Category wise etc.

When clicking on a dashboard, OurSys opens a month by month bar chart for the current financial year. But did you know that you can change the period, say for 5 years, and set whether you wish to see data monthly, quarterly, or financial year wise. For example you can see the last 10 years of Sale Invoice values grouped Financial years wise.

Item master tab wise Access Control
Customer Introduction:
This company is an aerospace component manufacturer.
Challenge
Item master in OurSys has data segregated into tabs based on the departments. Earlier it was assumed that Item master rights will be only with the IT admin. All concerned department will send their information to the IT admin in order to create the item.
Later this company and some other customers wanted to give controlled access of Item master data to relevant departments like Design, Accounts, Purchase and Sales. This was not possible earlier.
The Solution:
We developed a feature to control the access rights department wise by creating a facility to assign user access to individual tabs of Item master.
The Result / Benefits:
Now design generally initiates and creates the Item in the master but cannot see other tabs such as Sales, Purchase & Commercial. Other departments also have access limited to the tab related to their department. Thus the data secrecy related to the Item can be maintained.
