Special Outsourcing for Calibration

This company is manufacturing of precision machined components for automobile industry

 Challenge

There was no dedicated provision to send tools like Instruments, Jigs, Fixtures, Dies, Machines, Gauges, and Patterns outside for calibration. Also, the cycle of PO-GRN-BillPassing was not getting completed in work around methods.

 The Solution

We have modified the Special Outsourcing feature to accommodate sending Instrument, Jig, Fixture, Die, Machine, Gauge, and Pattern can be sent outside for Calibration with proper Purchase Order for further bill passing.

 The Result / Benefits

This has made the process smooth, naturally intuitive and there is complete control on the material and the bill passing for the services. This can be used for any process where some external service is required.
